Bio of Corinne Haubensak
After completing her studies at the Lausanne School of Business, Corinne Haubensak spent one year in London and subsequently obtained a Cambridge English Proficiency. After several years of experience in administrative management across a variety of sectors such as Design, Import-Export, Travel, and Information Technology, she discovered her passion for Human Resources, which motivated her to pursue the Swiss Federal Diploma in Human Resources Management.
This training program, in which she is now a lecturer and examination expert for the subjects “recruitment, employer branding, workforce planning, as well as training and staff development”, provided her with targeted operational tools essential to understanding the challenges of the “field”.
Her continuing education diploma and her Master of Advanced Studies in Human Resources Management and Career Management from the University of Geneva naturally complemented her practical background by providing an in-depth international academic perspective on the field of HR, both at the strategic level and in change management.
Driven by a constant desire to acquire new and solid professional knowledge, Corinne notably obtained a certification in negotiation and conflict management from the Faculty of Law at Harvard University in Boston, USA, as well as a certification in neurocognitive sciences from the INC in Paris.
Postgraduate training at EPFL/UNIL in Management Psychology (where she subsequently taught several modules), as well as her coaching training at the University of Lausanne, enabled her to approach HR from a more specialized psychological perspective and to gain access to essential tools for understanding and supporting the Human Being.
Her continuing education in Organizational Management and Marketing at the University of Geneva adds further strings to her bow, providing her with a comprehensive overview of business management.
Corinne’s competencies are therefore structured around three pillars:
• first, her extensive experience of nearly 15 years as a Line Manager and HR Director (during which she successively created, reorganized, and certified two HR departments managing respectively 400 and 2,500 employees), and more specifically in change management and project management within various large Swiss companies, including Credit Suisse and Swiss Post. Corinne was also a partner for four years at the international consulting firm Right Management as a Senior Consultant.
• second, her commitment and strong interest in systematically maintaining and further developing her theoretical knowledge in the fields she is passionate about. The combination of these first two pillars enables her not only to make her skills and experience as an independent consultant available to various national and international companies, but also to develop her 3rd area of interest, namely training; she teaches in fact in various certified programs (Swiss Federal Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Economists, and Swiss Federal Diploma for Executives—particularly, for the latter, in the topics “team leadership” and “conflict management”) and has been doing so for nearly 15 years.
• She is also an examination expert for the Swiss Federal Diplomas for Executives and Human Resources and also serves as a judge at the Labour Court and the Property Chamber.
